They've received a few upgrades in Breath of the Wild, as they can interact with their environment to manipulate the physics engine to their advantage in ways like picking up objects and throwing them. While they aren't a complete cakewalk to defeat, they're still extremely predictable and lack the health pool that larger, harder monsters have. This staple enemy of the Zelda series has been around for quite some time now, and they largely exist to be the simple, baseline enemy type.
